Chaplaincy and Religious Services
Whare karakia
Everything we do is underpinned by Christian values. Our chaplains provide interfaith pastoral care to residents, families, friends and staff members and they function as a member of the health care team; cooperating with staff and whānau in the best interests of our residents’ religions and cultural values.
-
Prayer is held every weekday morning from 9:15 AM in the chapel.
-
Church services are held each week on Sundays with twice monthly Holy Communion.
-
All are welcome to join us at any service.
-
Other special services are arranged as appropriate.
Our Chaplains are available 24 hours, 7 days a week and no issue or need is too small to receive loving, compassionate support, guidance or prayer.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns. You can leave a message with the staff or we can be reached by phone here at Tainui on 06 753 6597.
